Our Mission
Millap was born from the deeply personal story of our grandmother, who endured the pain of separation during the 1947 partition. Her brothers went back to help other families and never returned, leaving her with a lifetime of unanswered questions. Inspired by her strength and her memories, we, Sheikh Ibrahim Waqas and Mohammad Ismail Waqas, created Millap. Our mission is to reunite families torn apart by the partition, providing a platform where stories of separation can turn into moments of reconnection and healing.
Our Vision
Our vision is to bridge the gaps created by history, uniting families and generations across borders. By harnessing the power of technology, we strive to give hope to those who have lost loved ones and ensure that no story of separation goes untold. We aim to create a world where the pain of the past is softened by the joy of reuniting with loved ones.

About Millap
About Millap
Millap is more than just a platform—it’s a mission born out of a family’s personal story of separation during the 1947 partition. Founded by Sheikh Ibrahim Waqas, 17, and co-founded by Mohammad Ismail Waqas, 15, Millap was inspired by their grandmother’s lifelong pain. She migrated from India to Pakistan, but her brothers never returned after going back to help others. For years, she shared these stories with her grandsons, which sparked their determination to create a solution.
Millap aims to reunite families separated by the partition, offering a space where memories can be shared, and lost connections can be rediscovered. It’s a testament to the power of family and the enduring bonds that survive time, distance, and history. Our platform is here to help people heal, reconnect, and rebuild relationships that were disrupted by one of the most significant events in South Asian history
